Retraction

I retract most of the favorable things I said about the President’s HealthCare Plan.  I should have known that like with all things Obama, it looks and sounds great from far away, but when the details are revealed we are all working to keep the bureaucrats in power and their moochers alive.  How could he even mention a public option?  It saddens me deeply to think that the first black president holds these extreme views.  I think that his extremism makes his incredibly huge potential dangerous.  If only he were at the most a moderate Democrat, but he’s not.

Now to a little of the speech.  It was inappropriate for the Rep. from South Carolina shout out “You lie!” at the President, but were his words incorrect.  I doubt that you could find any politician federal and local who has not lied.  Even if you take just Obama’s presidency, then yes he has lied.  Prior to his presidency he stated that he supported a single-payer system for healthcare. Since becoming president he has denied ever supporting a single-payer system.  That sounds like a lie to me, but we all lie just not all of us control the direction of 1/6th of the economy.

Finally, why does the president think that I am going to feel guilty because he talks about people’s needs?  Our government supports those who have greater needs, like the USSR did.  The government should not be supporting anyone but those that due to physical or mental ailment cannot earn or produce in our economy.  The federal government should not be using force to seize the fruits of production to satisfy the needs of the moochers, instead they should be freeing the restrictions that are designed to seize production at the end of a gun.
